Founded back in 1976 as Multop Financial by Phil Multop, our firm started as a dedication to excellence in finance and services for the client. Over the years we've grown to be a leader in the areas of tax, accounting, financial planning, and business consulting.

Our professional CPAs, tax accountants, and seasoned bookkeepers are all part of the same practice here at Clarity Tax & CPA's, meaning we'll always assign someone whose skills match the job perfectly. The work is done in-house, whether it's tax preparation, financial planning and tax planning, quarterly and yearly bookkeeping, monthly closing of the books, payroll management, representation of our clients with the IRS, or even specialty tax work for cross-border US/Canada, high-net-worth individuals and trusts, or cryptocurrency holders.

Bellingham is home. Our office sits at 1326 East Laurel Street, a few blocks from downtown. We serve clients in Burlington, Friday Harbor, across Washington State, and nationwide. Washington has no state income tax but a Business and Occupation tax that catches business owners off guard, and our proximity to the Canadian border means we work with a steady volume of cross-border clients who need FBAR, TFSA, and RRSP reporting alongside their US returns.
